D2012 American Flyer 28114, Fig. 8 Action Display Sheet. This was put out by the A. C. Gilbert Co. to promote dealer sales in 1957, showing a 5 X 9 foot display with single train operation. The display consists of set number 20117, 13 car freight train, American Flyer Railroad trestle set, 2 100 watt Transformers, 5 assorted accessories, over 47 feet of track for operation and demonstration, and is nicely landscaped and textured. Price of layout was $198.00 FOB New Haven, Conn.
This was the price of the display and the trains were included. The back side includes a breakdown of the components. This is a 8 1/2 X 11 inch gray black-and-white copy from an original in my collection. It was reproduced on heavy bond white paper. Has portion of 1957 written on upper left hand corner of picture.
